Twice a year, more than 10,000 people shop and sample goods from over 300 exhibits at the Calgary Woman’s Show. Showcasing the best in fashion, beauty and decor, the show is packed with tons of entertainment and shopping. Bonus: you get a free swag bag at the door if you arrive early! But if you’ve never been or are unsure if the show is right for you, we’re here to bust some myths.
Myth #1: It’s full of direct sales, not local brands.
While we do have direct sellers from big brand name companies, the majority of exhibitors are from right here in Calgary! When you shop at the Calgary Woman’s Show, you’re supporting local businesses. From artisans to clothing boutiques, you’re sure to find your new favourite local vendors. It’s a great place to get a head start on Christmas shopping!
Myth #2: It’s more for my mom and her friends.
We may have been around for more than 30 years but that doesn’t mean our fashion and trends are stuck in the past! Throughout the weekend, you’ll be able to catch fashion shows showcasing the latest trends, experiment with new makeup or sample drinks in the wine garden. And let’s face it… We’ll all be hanging out in the Wine Garden.
Myth #3: It’s ONLY for women.
Everyone is invited to the Calgary Woman’s Show. Bring your partner, kids, dad or uncle! Looking for new date ideas?
